Yesterday, we were reminded that having a wedding out in the country beats a 'city-fied' wedding every day of the week! Privacy, beauty, and pastoral relaxation....they're all here at the chapel!

Miss Denise took this tremendous photo near the chapel, and it reminded us today of something we take for granted. With 45 acres of virtually unspoiled hill country property, the chapel is truly a rural and relaxed country gem. We met with a lovely couple last night, and one of the things they said is how relaxing and private the place feels. We couldn't agree more. Thank you, God, for providing this wonderful place with the help of Rita Oden. We bought it after seeing a fraction of it by the headlights of her van, and it was meant to be. Had we waited even one day, there were already contracts ready to go. We will always be appreciative. Now it's a perfect place for weddings, so He's using it for an excellent purpose on a regular basis!

All that wonderful-ness being said, not much is happening at the chapel today except for grass that's growing! Mrs. Boss and I will head down later to do more setup for Laura's event this weekend. The whole event is already coming together.

Speaking of having weddings, we were also told that our price for a wedding is an outstanding value when we talked with the last few couples that came to visit. That makes us feel good as well, since it's all about starting life surrounded by value! We hope you'll come visit very soon, and don't forget about weekly bible study almost every Sunday @ 5pm. We were thrilled to have Susan and Emmy here on Sunday! Later, chapel fans!
