While EVERYone is a celebrity @ the Chapel @ Caliber Oak, a recent event reached new heights in fun, old Hollywood style. The Motley Book Club - originating @ the chapel - celebrated their 5th year!
It was a totally fun-filled evening, and nobody went away hungry! Not only did the Motley's of Gourmandland hit the ground running, but Dr. David Albee was tickling the ivories on the piano with an old Hollywood flair! Topping the whole evening off was a GREAT book discussion and a one.of.a.kind, custom crafted cake from Let Them Eat Cake in Belton. Most of our weddings benefit from LTEK, so it's always fun to have Andrea's confections here for special events. Not only are her cakes yummilicious, but they look great. This cake had a vintage marquee on the second tier and tasted truly excellent. Super frosting and excellent cinnamon cake. We were enjoying it for many days after the anniversary party. Congratulations on The Motley Book Club celebrating FIVE years of reading, cussing and discussing with all that food and bev! We've lasted twice as long as most USA book clubs, with no sign of us slowing down. Good on ya!
Otherwise, preparations are underway for our next special event at the chapel with an elegant and easy fare being presented to the guests. We celebrate everything marital-related, and do a great job with it! We're thankful every day. Blessings to our special brides, grooms, families and everyone involved with the special-ness that the chapel has created. Later, Brides & Bros!
