What's better than being the parade announcer again this year for the Annual Salado Christmas Parade? Having two wonderful brides there to be sure I call out the right float entries as they go by!

It was an absolute delight hosting the Annual Christmas parade again tonight, and I had extra excellent assistance in the form of two outstanding Caliber Oak brides! Jolene and Sarah both worked as line spotters for me to be sure that Mrs. Boss and I didn't call out the wrong parade participant. Having all 3 of them making sure that everything went smoothly meant the world to me, and it makes us look great as a Village! KWTX was next to us filming, and Josh did an incredible job with the video. I felt like a real color commentator on their FB page as I watched it a few minutes ago! Always so fun being a part of an excellent Village community! Thanks, ladies, for making me sound good!

The beginning of the weekend will bring setup for book club @ the chapel, and I was a bonehead and took off the Knights of Columbus table cloths....Oh well, we'll just put the clean ones back out and set up a slightly different colourway on that. Looking forward to our annual 'wearing of the nightclothes' and wrapped book exchange and nibbling on goodies. Such a great group and always fun during the Christmas meeting!
