What kind of chapel shows a picture of a hard hat and a miniature power company lineman's truck?
Regular readers to the blog know that there's always something new and different happening at the chapel. Not just weddings (although we love them!). Last night's charity mixer for Garden of Hope was a great success, and lots of local businesses were event sponsors and supporters, and everyone had a great time. This is the super creative table for Dominion Energy Company, who provide power for the Ft. Hood area. The miniature truck, and power lines, and Lego linemen were a hit, and very creative! Lots of fun tables and the food was AMAZING! Don't ever miss a chapel charity event! You'll kick yourself for missing the fun and probably go hungry!
Otherwise, we put a new hanging fern down at the chapel, and Mrs. Boss has been attempting to keep things alive with the hose! The rental company comes today to pick up their tables from last night's event, and that'll be about all the action the chapel is expected to see before Sunday's bible study meal. Oh, I do need to get some measurements of tables for Megan for her wedding, but I'll work on that this morning during linen folding/table pick up time!
Hope your weekend is off to a tremendous start! Since it's Friday, it's never too early to say 'it's the weekend'! Have a great one and we'll talk to you soon!
