These two look absolutely regal in their sit-down portrait at their reception! The photo originally planned for the blog had some eyes closed, so this one is markedly better! Beautiful couple!

This was a genuinely wonderful wedding weekend at the chapel. Truly, groups like this is what it's all about! The families, bride, groom, friends, etc., were all just perfect and we enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The festivities started on Wednesday, when Todd and Nicole came and dropped off a load of decor, then they did it again on Thursday. Friday brought us full-scale decorating for the big day, and the entire family and friend entourage were here making it happen! You know it's going to be a decorated wedding when a U-Haul trailer arrives! Everyone we dealt with was so appreciative and a delight to work with. Fun guests, incredible officiant (yours truly!) :), and amazing food. We cannot think of one thing that would have made it better. Our dream team handled the volumes of the wedding with style and class as always. The weather was a bit scary, with rain threatening, VERY cool temperatures, and lots of wind. Fortunately, the Lord provided a rain-free ceremony...just a little mist....and the wind didn't blow anything away. I talked fast, and we got everyone inside as soon as we could. Great champagne toast with good speakers, and yummy cake cutting for everyone. The cake was on the pedestal table from Tammy and it had to be held steady, since the weight of the cake was significant. Everything went off without a hitch, and we're very thankful! Blessings to Kierstin & Shawn for a wonderful rest of their life together!

Well, more to take care of here, so I'll go. Hope to get another blog post out this week! Blessings!
