There's something intimate and special about having cookies as part of a wedding weekend. If they're the dessert at rehearsal dinner, or part of the reception, it doesn't matter. They're special!
The other side of this coin is that they're portable, last in storage for a bit if a bride gets too many, and so very personalized. Our personal preference is a 'monogrammed' theme with different monogram styles of our newest bride and groom's personal couple's monogram. Classy and fun. When the ChickFlicksCookies confection matches the wedding colors, it's even neater, but otherwise some butter cream background with light blue monogramming is freaking awesome and VERY deep south. The individual wrapping is such a cool idea, too, and the whole thing makes sense. When they're professionally done, they're not exactly cheap, but certainly an amazing addition to any wedding layout!
Getting to see Nicole tomorrow to go over some measurements, questions, ideas, vendors, etc. Looking forward to her visit. We've got another wonderful couple in the pipe who are headed this way with a deposit, so 2025 looks to be pretty busy. We're good with that, since it keeps us off the streets! :)
Gotta figure out a new plant for the planters at the ends of the low, rock curb along the driveway. Very open to suggestions, y'all!
Ok, got to run. Please have a tremendous weekend, and we hope to see you on March 16 for the SoHEF LCR game night. Everyone is welcome and just reserve your spot with Mrs. Boss @ 254 760 1590!
