Chapel Blog | Our weddings, events and news

The Consigliare does so many great things for us! If he's not taking care of beverages for wedding guests, he's serving tea ladies or getting me cashier's checks! The ultimate right-hand man here!

The day we crossed paths with Dr. Steglachi was one of the best evah. Cap wasn't even Cap yet, and probably just Lt. Rick, but we're not sure. Always a friendly face at Granger National Bank who clearly was smart and had great instincts, he agreed to be our limousine driver. We have had so many hours of safe, fun, and tolerant limo piloting as a result of his efforts. Little by little, Greg showed that he's the heir apparent to everything needed for the Chapel and pretty much the rest of life. He's always available with a smile to make things happen for us on about 8,000 different levels, and is also very good at saying, "Cap...are you sure you want to do that?", which is probably his most valuable trait! He's always got a great quip and has a wickedly dry sense of humor. One of our key phrases we enjoy that he utters in a great voice is, "your pants, sir", since he's had to deal with the Cap in less than optimal conditions! :) We both enjoy interacting with the penguin voices from "Madagascar", especially during large events and major customer service undertakings. He reflects all of the tenets of outstanding customer service, and I can actually see him thinking...."hmmmmmm. I wonder what Cap would do here". We just couldn't function the way we do without the safety net that he creates. It's cool to know what's going on 'behind the scenes' at the Chapel, and Gregster ALWAYS knows "where the bodies are buried"! God Bless you, GLS, and thank you for everything you've done for Mrs. Boss, this chapel and our lives!
