Stuffed snowman party on the top with the thankfulness creche cradle down below. The perfect touch!
The stuffed snowmen on the mantle are pretty excited because they know that the cradle won't be empty for long. The thankfulness cradle was a focus for last night's wonderful SSWS Christmas party at the chapel. Each attendee filled out an index card with what they were thankful for, and they were all shared after supper. It was very neat and there were lots and lots of cards in the cradle by the time they were read. The cradle fit just perfectly in the opening of the fireplace in the greatroom, so everything was just right.
Last night's food was tremendous as always, and we continue to love having Johnny's cater at the chapel. They're professional, timely, friendly, and it's always delicious. What a wonderful part of our Village that steakhouse is for so many!
MJ is supposed to come and get her decor today and we're going to have to find a wreath to replace the one she loaned the groups for their parties. It's just right above the greatroom entrance, so that'll give us something to shop for! Praise be to God for Emma Grace, who is headed out here after school today to wash probably 70 or 80 glasses from last night's party. We're so thrilled that she's able to work with us over the holiday break.
Clemente continues to finish the floor project in the groom's room, so things are coming together nicely. We hope everyone has a magical day! Blessings to one and all....
