It's all the little details that make the chapel special. This pocketbook is from the 1800's and adds a neat touch to the bride's room. How many weddings has this bag seen, you wonder. Fun diaplay!

Dad's great friend Helen gave Denise this bag from the late 1800's. She's actually carried it for special events before, and it's truly a genuine antique. Lots of hand beading, neat double balled clasp, and a beaded strap for carrying. Who knows what stories this bag could tell. It's on display in the bride's room as a wonderful antique accent. Thank you, Helen! God bless you.
Working this afternoon on the setup for tomorrow's Slice of Heaven LCR fundraiser. Miss Denise has over 50 folks coming. Should be a nice fundraiser with food, beverage and laughter! So glad we can use the chapel for such a grand cause. If you're interested in coming at 4p tomorrow and haven't made a reservation with Miss Denise, please text her at 254 760 1590. Hope to see you there! Our bible study group is even sacrificing our session on Sunday evening in favor of raising money for Slice of Heaven!
Had a great luncheon with Sheri for her birthday. She got a Village Spa gift certificate, and a special pink-frosted cupcake. We stayed in our Wendy Speake 40-day lane, and had soup, salad and a fruit medley. Nice stuff!
Ok, I'm fixing to have to go walk with Miss Denise, so I'll close off for today. Have a wonderful Saturday and hope to see you at games night tomorrow!
