Happiness as a couple is palpable with these two. It was an honor to have their wedding ceremony at the chapel, and an even greater honor to have performed the rite. Art and Sue are a delight!
Easy going, happy, appreciative and thankful. Those are just some of the adjectives we'd use to describe these two. We started out planning one of our 'rich and famous' ceremony and reception setups that are a hallmark of the chapel, and then these two went in a fresh, new direction. They had a lovely outdoor ceremony under the chandeliers (thank you, God, for keeping the rain away for the special outdoor celebration!) and then headed to another location for their reception. Not our usual setup, but it worked beautifully for them and made things easy breezy, which is the way they like it. They're off soon on a very special Panama Canal honeymoon, and we know they'll have a wonderful time together. We have a feeling that these two are at ease and have fun together everywhere they go. Their guests and children were warm and delightful, and it was fun having the "Canadian Contingency" here as part of the festivities. Thank you, Art and Sue, for trusting us with your biggest of days, and we hope for many, many years of marital happiness and companionship in the future!
Otherwise, we're pretty well all cleaned up from Mrs. Boss' tea this weekend, and not much is happening at the chapel this week. That'll change soon with the setup and execution of our last, planned wedding of the year, which will be here before we know it. Where did 2024 go!?!? Thankfully, more folks are making inquiries for 2025, so the chapel will roll right along in God's good grace.
Hope everyone has a great wrap up to the week, and a tremendous weekend! Be blessed and thankful, and we'll talk at you soon! :)
