Fun mantle display for Paige and Trevor's wedding day that apparently had the "Marilyn Monroe" look.

So when the excitement is building and the team is setting up for the festivities for the next day's weddings, you can't help but pick up tricks, trends and insights that you didn't have before. When one of Paige's bridal party team said, "We're going to put the pearls on the silver letters kind of Marilyn Monroe style", I didn't know what she was talking about. Apparently, this is a thing, and it turned out pretty cool.

Not much going on at the chapel of love today. Might get some rain to make the flowers grow, but we'll just have to wait and see. Messing with a couple of lamps in the entry way to figure out what we want to do on one of the tables, since we moved a lamp from the house to the chapel, which has affected the 'lamp-space continuum' around here, so we're playing 52 card pickup to make everything work out just right. We're thinking a couple of clip-on lamp shades, and we'll be good to go. Hopefully, we'll stumble on something like that this weekend.
