For those of you 'in the know', this chapel is truly our Joy. This is particularly evident in this photo of Samantha about 2 minutes after getting married. Mrs. Boss knows how to express joy!!!
Loving on the genuine happiness of this photograph, and Jolene took some great ones that day! In this photo, Samantha and Jessie are coming back inside the chapel after being married in the courtyard. Mrs. Boss' genuine thrill at their new-found marital status is palpable, and I'm reminded of how much this place means to us when I look at pictures like this. Every effort, every detail and every bit of direction and guidance are all worth while, when you realize you really are helping a couple achieve their dream. AND, it's a pretty great dream that usually can use all the help it can get! Everything at Sam & Jess' wedding went off so beautifully, and they and their guests were so happy, that we could rest that night knowing we had performed a job well done! As our 182nd wedding, it was as special as our 1st, and each one in between. We love what we do and it shows!
Today is the big annual tea, and Mrs. Boss has about 34 in attendance. I need to cut up grapes, make sammiches, and steam some aprons, but otherwise we're pretty ready to go. I have my menu marching orders, so I know 'team boyz' will be all over the tea service and provide tremendous attention to the annual event. Can you tell how much we love tradition around here?!
Blessings to one and all for a great rest of the weekend. Try to adjust to the time change (yeesh!) and put a smile on your face! If you can't find a smile, just swing by the chapel and we'll give you one of ours! Later!
