Even at wrap-up time, at the end of the night, Vance's music was making dance magic at Wedding Homecoming, 2024!

Greg and Griselda were holding down the dancefloor towards the end of this year's wedding homecoming event, and we think everyone had a great time. John took lots of great photos that we plan to share out here as the time presents itself. As regular readers know, we love our wedding homecoming nights each year, and already are excited about next year's event!

Had a wonderful supper with bride and groom Hettie and Chad last night, and the Stegs are on the calendar as well. A supper with General Gibbs & Sharon is on the agenda for the main cottage, so the fun of getting to visit with our very special couples continues. It's really a great way to get to spend some time when everyone is relaxed with a nice meal.

Weather around the chapel is way better, although I wouldn't call it 'warm'. It was in the 50's today, and bearable with a jacket and scarf. We're saying prayers for our special Elena, who's been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of weeks.

Looks like we'll have lots of dead branches and clearing to do before the next wedding, but with some expert Clemente trimming and a good charging, the battery for the electric gate is back up and running. It's such a nice luxury that we waited about 20 years for! :)
