............and some Caliber Oak couples are BBQ Champions! Otto (and Sarah) won "Best Chili 2023" at the cookoff @ pace park. That's a pretty cool trophy and well deserved. So much success!

All of our Caliber Oak brides and grooms are champions, but not all of them get trophies. These two did, however, at a recent BBQ cookoff. Captain Rick isn't exactly the ultimate devotee of BBQ. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I like other things more. Otto, however, pushes that envelope! He did our turkey for Thanksgiving AND Easter, and his technique is clearly head and shoulders above anyone else! It's tender, juicy, flavorful and truly an accomplishment. How cool is it that Otto does the protein to perfection and Sarah is the "Queen of Sides" so that they can pull off just about anything. Here's my advice to you......... if you get an invite to their place for a BBQ dinner, DON'T pass it up. So what if you're scheduled at the G7, or scheduled on the next flight on SpaceX or having your toenail fungus surgically removed (ew. What a weird example!) cancel whatever you were planning to do and head on out to the country and get your grub on, y'all! Well done, Otto and Sarah!

Not too much going on at the chapel today. Calvin worked his first day with us yesterday, and did a great job of continuing to pull weeds, put down mulch and get rid of weeds in the ourdoor DG courtyard. Well done!

Ok, well, I've got to get ready to go to Dr. Matt's. It's re-hydration day at the ol' drip bar, so it's kind of a relaxing self care kind of activity. I recommend it highly. It's completely eliminated my nasty leg cramping! Woohooo! Later, my gaters, and stay cooooool!
