A great location for a honeymoon is the perfect next step for our Brides and Grooms! One of our favorite places in the entire world is just a few hours away! Roadtrips are GREAT for new marrieds!

We get to spend a lot of time in special places. We've been on several European tours, and visited all 50 states. Lots of Canada, islands, and Mexico, too. We always suggest the "RedNeck Riviera" (a.k.a. Destin to Panama City) since it's the easiest and such a fun diversion. A honeymoon here would be great. We love it, because its convenient, relatively inexpensive, and in the good 'ol US of A! Nothing like sunbathing, swimming and touring on the Emerald Coast. Lots to see and do, and the 'ol Cap even rides a bike sometimes! We love the condo life (perfect for our brides and grooms) so that we can cook local food (excellent seafood) and fun places to go eat out! Truly just an overnight drive from our area....we know our couples won't be sad they chose it!

Otherwise, working on a wedding plan today, and prepping for this weekend's Friend's of the Salado Public Library "Jane Austen" event, that promises to be a hit! We had 96 here for the Edgar A. Poe event last year, so we're hoping for the same numbers this time around. Rumor has it that an "Earnest Hemmingway" event could be on tap during the next 12 months....we'll see. We have the perfect Earnest Hemmingway, since our best man from 1986 has ended up looking strikingly similar to the author. Jane Austen this weekend is RESERVATION ONLY, so if you can make it, come 'sup and sip with Miss Jane! Later, Chapel-lites!
