Everyone fell for fall in the feeling of 4 Friends!
And a good time was had by all! We cannot thank Gary and Jody Askins enough for making this performance possible, and also some pretty special help from Sarah and Max along the way. The charity (APAC) raised something to the tune of $2,000 and what a great excuse for a play! Blessings and hats off all around! AND, Masonus Maximus was a large part of that fundraiser. Certainly earned his ticket to NYE for sure!
Preparations abound. One of the most special weddings the chapel has ever hosted is coming up. If the groom wasn't such a special guy, and the girl a delightful lady.....AND if the groom hadn't been at like a zillion weddings and events here already, maybe we wouldn't be as excited. But, it is WHAT it is, and the marriage of R&C very soon is a tremendous blessing to us, and we're honored that they've trusted us with their biggest of days. Never mind that I've been ironing napkins till I go blind, steaming linens until I'm wrinkled, stacking glasses like there's no tomorrow! It's all wonderfully worth it, since these two are a very important part of our live here, and it just wouldn't be the same without them. We simply cannot wait! Wooohoo! And Miss Alice Fleetwood had some TLC thrown her way at Troy's Auto Care this afternoon....along with all the other activities! We're excited for E&J to show up tomorrow for their long-awaited visit....and I don't mean the brandy by the same name! Can't wait for the Christmas parade! Who's lovely voice is that at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night? I cannot imagine!
Progress comes in steps. Not everything gets fixed all at once. We can offer our prayers, hope and guidance along the way, but HE is the Teller of all time. Let's set our watches to that, shall we?
